In recent years, juvenile delinquency has reached its peak. Daily, incidents of domestic and school violence, both physical and psychological, are reported worldwide. The need for superiority among minors, based on today's flawed societal standards, often leads to extreme aggressive tendencies, resulting in violent and abusive treatment of other minors within their common environments (e.g., schools, sports facilities, etc.).
Another significant problem is the daily disappearances of children, either due to abductions or runaway cases, stemming from poor cohabitation and communication with parents. In such runaway cases, there may also be a factor of instigation and enticement by an adult with whom the minor has been secretly conversing. One of the most alarming statistics is that the average age of running away or abduction is 12 years old, a percentage that causes great concern for both authorities and parents, who fear for their children's safety on a daily basis as they do not know how to protect them.
This is where "Self-defense" and more specifically Krav Maga come in. Through specialized techniques, Krav Maga trains children to immediately perceive, recognize, manage, and confront danger, without giving them the false sense of overestimating their abilities.
The goal of Krav Maga is to train not only the child but also the parents, and to point out the everyday mistakes they make that put their own safety and that of their children at risk.
